The Arizona Optics Industry Association (AOIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together optics related businesses, institutions, and professionals for their mutual benefit. AOIA acts to foster the continued growth of the optics industry in Arizona and is often referred to as the optics cluster. The association was founded in August, 1992, and is funded primarily by member dues and contributions. The board of directors of the AOIA meets regularly to guide the association.

Any Arizona optics related company, institution, or professional is automatically (by definition) a member of the optics cluster, and may become a dues-paying member of AOIA.
