The mission of the AOIA is to promote the growth of the optics industry in Arizona.
The AOIA's five objectives are:
- Marketing: To market the Arizona optics industry worldwide.
- Networking: To facilitate communication among members and with other organizations.
- Strategic Partnering: To facilitate opportunities for strategic partnering to bring business to Arizona that would otherwise go elsewhere.
- Education: To improve education for optics literacy and in optics careers.
- Representation: To represent Arizona optics industry's interests.
